Family Sunday at the “WinterZeit” markets

Family Sunday on 14 December 2025 in the castle courtyard offers various activities and events for children from 13:00 to 16:00.
There is colorful face painting for children on the stage – free of charge and with lots of imagination. Whether tiger, fox or unicorn: children can transform themselves into little winter creatures and immerse themselves in the festive world. There will be discounted rides on the children’s carousel next door on Family Sunday.Another highlight is the Teddy Clinic, a student project that has set itself the task of taking away children’s fear of visits to the doctor. Injured cuddly toys are examined and treated together here.
The right children’s punch, which is available at IC Heißgetränke (stand no. 64-07) for €2 at half price on this Sunday, will warm you up.

“Hopfen & Knödelglück” (stand no. 11-10) can be found on Schillerplatz again this year and will be treating young guests to a children’s portion of spaetzle at a special price of €4.50 on Family Sunday.

A special experience awaits the little ones in the Hopfengarten on December 14 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: the Rasch fairground company invites you to take a fre ride on the carousel.
