On this exciting WineWalk, your tour guides will lead you through the narrow and sometimes dark alleyways, lanes and little streets of Mainz’s historic old town. Starting at the venerable Mainz Cathedral, we scurry through electoral Mainz, marvel at a Romanesque tower block that doesn’t need to hide behind the Tuscan towers of the dynasty. And along the way, you will learn the stories of the Mainz Rhine fishermen and discover our love of the Mainz Baroque. At the end of the city tour, it gets hot in every respect … It is winter after all.
