Gustavsburg Christmas Market
Once a year, the pre-Christmas glow of lights on the first weekend of Advent transforms the historic Cramer-Klett-Platz in Gustavsburg into one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in the Rhine-Main region. The festively illuminated ensemble of buildings that line the market is unsurpassed in the region. A canopy of thousands of small lights and lovingly decorated stalls create an atmospheric picture. For three evenings, Cramer-Klett-Platz is bathed in the glow of a city of stalls.
From November 28 to 30, the Sport- und Kulturbund Gustavsburg e.V. (SKB) and numerous local associations are looking forward to welcoming visitors from near and far. Together, they invite you to the 39th Gustavsburg Christmas Market – three days full of music, lights and a pre-Christmas atmosphere.
The market opens at 5 p.m. on Friday, from 3.30 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 p.m. on Sunday.
- On Friday, November 28, the program begins at 6 p.m. with the ceremonial opening by Mayor Thorsten Siehr, SKB Chairman Daniel Martin and Pastors Marcus Bahnsen and Karl Zirmer.
- On Saturday, November 29, the stalls open at 3:30 pm. At 4.30 p.m., the Rüsselsheim St. Martin’s brass band will provide Christmas sounds. In the evening, the band “Christmas Crew” will delight from 6.30 pm with a mixture of classic Christmas hits.
- Sunday, November 30 begins at 1 p.m. and offers a varied family program. From 2 p.m., local daycare centers and clubs show off their skills on stage. At 3 pm, children’s songwriter Wolfgang Hering sings.
